and here i thought we were making progress… but with things like this still happening, i’m starting to doubt again. i know full well that the whole nation wasn’t happy with barack obama becoming our 44th president, but for someone to publish something like this in a newspaper, something so offensive, is just ridiculous. how could you really think that comparing an african-american president to a monkey would be entertaining to anyone? i mean, the president is going to be made fun of, this i know. but seriously? a monkey? a f*cking monkey? chan >:{

yay! this is the new first couple’s first dance! ahhh, the whole day was just spectacular. and here, at the neighborhood ball, beyonce did an excellent job singing “at last”… she was so sincere, both during the performance and after it: she did an interview and barely held back tears of joy… it was all so amazing to watch and be a part of… WOOOO! but i’ll blog more about it later. i’m gonna see how i can get a copy of this for my mum’s mp3 player. =D

okay, this is something that’s been on my mind a while now, but seeing this site made me want to write about it.
it’s bad enough they have pics of barack obama on a beach in star magazine, talkin about how he’s got one of the best beach bodies in celebville, but WHY DO THEY CATEGORIZE HIM AS A CELEBRITY?!?!? that KILLS me! you don’t see them do that to ANYONE ELSE in the election, so why him? sure, he’s young, black and handsome, but do you HAVE to? really. do you have to talk about him that way? it’s not negative, but it is. it fuels that dumbass advertisement from mccain’s camp, about how he’s this huge celebrity. it can’t be denied cuz he’s all up in there, up in the celebrity magazines, and on extra and access hollywood.
now, this website i saw isn’t necessarily one that puts him on that celebrity pedestal. but i still think this is retarded. funny at first glance, but still VERY stupid. just click on this link, and go to this website, and scroll to the picture at the bottom, and tell ME i’m buggin. tell me that this isn’t goin a little too far.

michael phelps is a beast! tonight he won his 7th gold medal in the beijing olympics by 1/100th of a second! it was awesome! i was screaming at the tv, going “oh my god. i can’t believe he’s about to lose.” cuz he was, like, three strokes behind, at LEAST. and then, boom. he won. i was flipping out! from the looks of it, he couldn’t have won. it looked impossible for him to catch up. but he did! ooh, he’s just awesome… one more to go, michael! you can do it! wooooooo! =D chan :)

i haven’t posted since august 4th? bizarre… probably cuz i haven’t had the chance to really sit down and get everything out… when it comes to my blogs, i don’t wanna go halfway, i wanna go all out. so maybe when it isn’t 1 in the morning, and i’m not sleeping as i type, or exhausted beyond belief, then i’ll sit and tell you what’s been going on with me. aight? kool beans. laters!
